The 换妻社区 campus is a place to come alive. We have hundreds of student organizations, groups and events you can plug into, serve with, play in, root for and grow with.
Our student body is at the core of Hope鈥檚 vibrant, diverse, active community 鈥 and we have something for everyone.
The Center for Diversity and Inclusion is committed to cultivating a diverse and inclusive campus community that allows all members to grow in their cultural understanding, engagement and proficiency. Our campus is unified by the belief that together we can accomplish more than we ever could apart.
The Student Activities Committee hosts high-quality programming and student entertainment, including:
- A concert series that has hosted artists like Ingrid Michaelson, Ben Rector, Gungor, and S. Carey
- Coffeehouse, a weekly showcase of student musicians and performers
- Trips to regional points of interest, including Chicago and Detroit
- Films, improv and comedy shows, slam poetry and other performances
- Traditional collegiate events like the Homecoming Hoedown, Spring Fling and Winter Fantasia
- Outdoor events, including the Drive-In Movie and Spring Fling
- Events that make you think and wonder 鈥 things like Failure:Lab and many of our concerts
We also encourage your spiritual development. Campus Ministries is devoted to helping each student flourish and thrive in a spiritually nurturing environment.
At the Boerigter Center for Calling and Career, Hope students learn that rare combination of career preparedness, professionalism and deep values that gives our graduates a solid reputation among employers and graduate programs. We鈥檒l assist you with every aspect of your career preparation, including:
- Exploring majors and careers
- Developing your resume and cover letter
- Pursuing internships, jobs and graduate school admission
- Building your network
- Preparing for interviews
Each of these areas reflects our commitment to developing students 鈥 in and out of the classroom.
Making Hope your Home
Living on campus is an integral part of your time at Hope. Each first- and second-year student calls one of 11 residential halls 鈥渉ome,鈥 while upperclassmen have the opportunity to live in one of more than 90 apartments and cottages close to campus. Many of these are houses in residential neighborhoods and are fully integrated into the Holland community.
Plus, dining at Hope is an easy way to interact with your friends, faculty and staff. Enjoy the variety at one of two residence dining halls, and purchase concessions at any of our sports venues or four on-campus retail outlets. Visit Campus Dining to learn how we handle special dietary needs and food allergies and to find information about our sustainability efforts and our robust vegetarian program.
