Carrie Lehocky
Assistant Professor of Kinesiology InstructionProfessor Carrie Lehocky ’11 teaches educational methods courses to Hope students preparing for careers as health educators. She began teaching in the Department of Kinesiology in 2023, and brings to the task more than a decade of experience as a teacher at the middle school and K–12 virtual levels.
The courses she teaches include Data and Assessment in Physical Education and Health, Methods of Teaching Health Education 1, Health Education Methods 2 and Sexuality Education, and Health Dynamics Activity.
She joined the »»ÆÞÉçÇø volleyball staff prior to the 2018 seasons and became the associate head coach in 2022. As a Hope student she was a defensive specialist on the team and was part of the 2009 national semifinalist team.
Professor Lehocky is pursuing a master’s degree in education at the University of Missouri focused on positive coaching psychology and athletic leadership.

When Professor Lehocky isn’t teaching or coaching, she can be found exploring the outdoors. She enjoys hiking, boating and camping with her dog.
