Accreditation is vital to the education programs at Hope, as it allows for ongoing continuous improvement where the faculty regularly analyze data — from key assessments, MTTC test scores and survey data from graduates and principals — and set goals for the department. Every full-time faculty member serves on one of the following accreditation committees:
- Standard 1: Content and Pedagogical Knowledge
- Standard 2: Clinical Partnerships and Practice
- Standard 3: Candidate Recruitment, Progression, and Support
- Standard 4: Program Impact
- Standard 5: Quality Assurance System and Continuous Improvement
The Education Department offers accredited programs for initial licensure in the following areas:
Elementary Education (PK–3 & 3–6 Grade Bands certification) | Secondary Education (5–9 & 7–12 Grade Bands certification) | K–12 Education Certification |
